Hey man, it's Europe! There is a lively street scene, and remember - there were Olympic games held in Barcelona not so long ago (remember the man shooting the flaming arrow to light the Olympic torch for the 1992 games).
Savor the food. Tapas were not invented in the cool bar down the street - they come from Spain! Try this Shrimp and Garlic recipe - just in case you can't make the trip!
Bottom line is this- The worldwide economy is in a severe recession. It is much cheaper to travel now than last year. You will be treated like a King - and there is a great big world to see so better start now! You may not be seeing this kind of pricing ($430 pp) next year - or maybe ever again.....
