There was one page that was especially helpful if you are going to be staying at the same hotel during the entire duration of your trip.
To Insure Promptness = TIP
The origination of the tip was from 16th century England and it was “To Insure Promptness,” so tipping well at the hotel at which you are staying will help to insure a pleasant stay and great service. For best possible service make sure that you get a good reputation for tipping with the people that will be serving you throughout your stay.
But what about "All-inclusive" resorts?
It is important to know your hotel/resort rules on tipping because some all-inclusives do not allow tipping at all, while others are very tip dependent.
So ask Scott while you are planning your trip about how much to budget for tips or if you even need to budget anything at all.
The graphic also provides tips on tipping during your everyday life - at bars, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Click here to check it out and find the answers to all of your questions about tipping - hospitalitymanagementschools.org tip guide
